Team Building Retreats

Primary Benefit

Working together on a team of any size can be difficult in the best of circumstances. Our teambuilding events are designed to improve communication and overall team effectiveness through a series of fun and engaging activities.

Duration: Half or Full Day

The teambuilding event could be held onsite if you have a room large enough for the activities. We will also work with area hotels and resorts to plan the customer event to meet your organization's needs.

The sessions could include activities such as the following:

Mini DISC Personality Profile Session

  • Duration: 45 minutes
  • Teaches / reinforces the following concepts:
    • Recognizing different communication styles
    • Adapting your style to be understood

"Nuclear Transfer"

  • Duration: 30 minutes
  • Teaches / reinforces the following concepts:
  • Recognizing the different roles on project teams
  • The importance of safety and careful planning

"Hot Lava River"

  • Duration: 30-45 minutes
  • Teaches / reinforces the following concepts:
    • The need for planning prior to starting an assignment
    • Working together as a team to accomplish a goal

"Blind Polygon"

  • Duration: 30-45 minutes
  • Teaches / reinforces the following concepts:
    • Communication
    • Listening skills
    • Leadership

"Helium Pole"

  • Duration: 30-45 minutes
  • Teaches / reinforces the following concepts:
    • Communication
    • The need for leadership and direction
    • Seeing the "Big Picture"
    • Realizing that others are working towards the same goal

"Team Downhill"

  • Duration: 60-90 minutes
  • Teaches / reinforces the following concepts:
    • Coordination of team members effort
    • The need for direction
    • Cooperation

"Keep it Going"

  • Duration: 30 minutes
  • Teaches / reinforces the following concepts:
    • Slow steady progress over short spurts of activity
    • Internal quality control/integrity
    • Coordination of a large team

Strategic Planning

  • Duration: Varies
  • Teaches / reinforces the following concepts:
    • Provides time to discuss real issues and develop solutions
    • The organization will leave with a clear understanding of the team's objectives and goals
